Growing Up

Once upon a time, three little babies were born.



They were blessed to have a great family and an adorable big brother!

(Don't you love those eyes? I know I do! I look into them daily.)

And then one day, they were all grown up.

It's exciting really, but also a little sad. It means the rest of us are getting older too. This Saturday, Phil will graduate from college. Next Saturday, Megan will graduate. And in the fall, all three will begin grad school! We will miss the graduations this year, but we'll be there in our hearts. And God willing, we will see them all in two months. An early congratulations to you all!

In Our Prayers

While this isn't the greatest picture of us (I tried to take the red eye out, but you can tell our eyes are funny), it was the only picture I could get of Becca. I think all the ones I have of us growing up are at my mother's in Louisiana. Carisa sent me this one. It is of the three of us at Becca's wedding two summers ago. I was working, Becca was the beautiful bride, and Carisa was a guest with a great tan. If anyone has the bowling picture, please send it!

I just wanted to ask everyone to pray for Becca, her husband, and her family. She had heart surgery on Monday, April 23 (at 26 yrs. old). I haven't gotten an update since Saturday, but she spent last week in a drug-induced coma. Her body is having a difficult time recovering.
Becca was my best friend before I moved away, one of the sweetest people I know, and so pretty!

The good news is: she has been surrounded by the Lord and His angels every second.

People are praying for her all day, everyday.

Please add her to your prayer list!

Looking for a very important picture. Please pray God lays it out in the open for me. I've been looking everywhere I can think of and........ nothing!

*** No, he wasn't in trouble. He thinks its pretty funny that he can fit in Dallas' crate, so he keeps climbing in there. I just happened to get to my camera this time.

In other news: Braden actually spent Friday afternoon/evening at home with his parents. We played board games and the boys had hot chocolate. Braden almost crushed me to death doing a stunt during Family Fun Cranium!

Also, Jon has been called to report for jury duty on May 7th. He doesn't know it yet! The mail just came and he's still sleeping. (Up late watching the Mavs getting spanked)

A Day on the Farm

Last night was Braden's spring concert at the new performing arts center (or PAC, if you are really cool!) It was fabulous, because it last only about 30 minutes! The kids did a great job. And it was made even better because it involved all of the Van Wert 1st and 2nd graders, not just Braden's school. But you can only listen to songs such as Old McDonald, Take Me Out to the Ballgame, John Jacob Jingle...., and others for so long. And we got to listen to 6 rounds of McDonald twice!

Where is Braden? Obviously, you are at an advantage because of his height. He's in the back row. If you look for the hair, you'll be able to pick him out pretty quick.
