Peony Parade
Nick, Braden, and Jared passing out info on the 1st UM vacation bible school.
How cute is this?
The biggest unicycle I've ever seen.
Dallas and Daddy.... he knows just where to scratch her!
Enjoying the parade? Hard to tell.

Painting with Aud
This past Thursday, while Braden was at "smart kid camp" down in Coldwater, I went to Celina and had lunch and painted pottery with Audrey. I loved it! We ordered our food, picked out our pottery, and then sat down and painted while we ate/chatted. You leave your painted piece with them and they fire it later. Aud will pick the finished pieces up next week. Can't wait to see how it looks once it's completed!
Here's Aud working on her coffee mug.
She only used 2 colors. I used 5!!!
The outside of my bowl: black and brown with purple and yellow polka dots
The inside: blue with a purple and yellow "VC"
If it looks good, I'm going to go again later in the summer and possibly paint a dog bowl for Dallas. And in November, the pottery people are coming to our church for a women's night of painting/fellowship! How exciting!

Grandpa Ernie decided to try Braden out on the mower several weeks ago. He did ok..... as long as Grandpa was directing him.
Maybe his MP3 player was a bit of a distraction.
Sure looks like he's concentrating though.
And enjoying being in the driver's seat!

Doctor Murdered
WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Dr. George Tiller, one of the nation's few providers of late-term abortions despite decades of protests and attacks, was shot and killed Sunday in a church where he was serving as an usher.
Tiller's Women's Health Care Services clinic is one of just three in the nation where abortions are performed after the 21st week of pregnancy. The clinic was heavily fortified and Tiller often traveled with a bodyguard, but Stolz said there was no indication of security at the church Sunday.

While I am in no way condoning this man's murder, this story caught my attention because he was murdered at his church, where he was serving as an usher! He is one of only 3 doctors in the nation that performs abortions after 21 weeks! How anyone can do that, and believe in God, and worship God, is beyond me!
Without getting into details tonight, let me just refer you to a few resources. Judge for yourself! Educate yourself!
From the moment of conception, this is a baby! After only a few weeks, this baby is able to feel pain! Can you even imagine being torn to pieces, or having your skull crushed, to kill you? (These are both methods used in abortions.)

Hosanna
I see the king of glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes
The whole earth shakes
Yeeeah
I see his love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing
The people sing
[Chorus]
Hosanna
Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest [x2]
I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
With selfless faith
With selfless faith
I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees
We're on our knees
[Chorus]
Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you have loved me
Break my heart from what breaks yours
Everything I am for your kingdoms cause
As I go from nothing to
Eternity
[Chorus x2]
Hosanna in the highest

My Hydrangea Bush
The first to bloom!
An aerial view.
From the sidewalk. Either we planted it the wrong way or the bush has turned itself!!! All of the flowers are on the other side! (At least its still alive after 2 weeks)
